NOW CHECK OUT HIS SIX COURSE MEAL BELOW

Part 1:

____________________

1️⃣ An album you constantly listen to alone. One that is very close to your heart and you prefer to not listen to in the company of others, a record you feel speaks directly to you!

🎯 "Skip Spence - Oar comes to mind. So does Townes Van Zandt - Live At The Old Quarter, Houston, Texas. Those records make you feel like you are in the room with them. Truly amazing."

Selected track - Townes Van Zandt - If I Needed You (Live At The Old Quarter, Houston, Texas, July 1973)

2️⃣ An album from a label you highly respect. Or... a record from your home town we need to hear.

🎯 "I would recommend everyone check out Toronto labels Telephone Explosion, Morning Trip and Idée Fixe. Consistently releasing fantastic music. You really can't go wrong. As far as my time growing up in Ottawa I would recommend the bands Shotmaker, Okara, Weights & Measures, Kepler & Buried Inside."

Selected track - Kepler - A Workhorse

3️⃣ A classic album, one that you put on when friends are over or when times are good! A staple in your life.

🎯 "Nigeria Special: Modern Highlife, Afro-Sounds & Nigerian Blues 1970-76. A beautiful double LP compilation that I play all the time."

Selected track - The Funkees - Akula Owu Onyeara
